Who Fact Checks This Stuff?

Umm, someone needs to tell the headline writer at cnn.com that the Jaguar release was a couple years ago.

LEOPARD is delayed, NOT Jaguar.

Leopard == Mac OS X 10.5

Jaguar == Mac OS X 10.2

That’s like 7 versions ago, right? Math is hard.

UPDATE: They fixed it.

    Cheetah == 10.0
    Puma == 10.1
    Jaguar == 10.2
    Panther == 10.3
    Tiger == 10.4
    Leopard == 10.5

  8. I guess using the numbers for the releases just isn’t sexy enough.  Being a newbie on an iMac, it took me a while to figure out I had Tiger in the tank...especially when it says I have Darwin 8.9.1 as my kernel.  Oh well…

    Looking forward to Leopard.

Really, I'm glad you made it down here. Almost no one ever comes down here. I'm like in a freaking dungeon down here. I get lonely. But not you. YOU made it all the way to the end of the page.
