What Passes for Entertainment

The kids discovered the Potter Puppet Pals vids on YouTube over the Christmas Break. Jonah now has all the parts to this video memorized and will act them out for you, EVEN IF YOU POLITELY ASK HIM NOT TO.

Thinking very strongly about asking him in a not-so-polite way to stop. Or locking him in his room until he stops singing.

Though when he orchestrated everyone in the family and handed out parts to people, THAT was pretty funny. Though I would have preferred not to be Hermione.

  1. Give that boy lot’s of practice and then send him up to Park City when Sun Dance is running!  He’s your ticket to fame and more importantly fortune.

  2. That would be lots, not lot’s.

  3. Ok, I am going to admit something embarassing .. I actually have a set of magnetic finger puppets hanging on my fridge right now ... Shakespeare, Virginia Woolf, Tolstoy and Dickens!  Send the kids on up to Van, BC to make their own show! =) You are probably getting a good idea of why there is a Nerd in my name!!

  4. My boy child also found this annoying little video on my iphone and every time I go to itunes that little bastard puppets sings that annoying little song.  The iphone and all it’s glamour is so wasted on me and my electronic ignorance. Will someone please help me take that mother loving video off my phone.  Btw....my son sang it for a long time too.  I just had to....

Holy Crap! Look at all this STUFF down here. It's awesome!

Really, I'm glad you made it down here. Almost no one ever comes down here. I'm like in a freaking dungeon down here. I get lonely. But not you. YOU made it all the way to the end of the page. For this I think I've a little crush on you. I don't know, is "love" to strong a word to use in this situation? Well, if it's not "love," then it's very strong "like." I'm totally in like with you for coming down here. You are awesome. Please love me back! I know, I know, I shouldn't be all needy, it's not attractive at all, but you don't know how it is to be stuck down here. Who scrolls all the way to the end of a page anymore these days? Anyway, thanks for shedding some light down here in the depths. I appreciate it. Shoot me an email and I'll send you a dollar, OK?
