Turkey and Thankfulness Day
Short and artificially sweetened today.
We don’t have a kitchen (still) so we are about to go out to a swanky restaurant, eat really good food, not clean up or do the dishes and then come home and watch movies and play video games and argue with each other about who gets to nap first.
Here’s what I’m thankful for today:
Good Health
Great Family
Nothing else matters.
Although broadband internet is pretty nice as well.
But mostly the health and family thing.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up. ‘Course sleeping in until 10.30 today was pretty sweet too.

Envy is oozing out of me onto my keyboard. I’ll type fast before it shorts out. I cooked a 5-course meal for 20, as usual, this year. I fantasized all Tuesday (during the shopping), Wednesday (during the prepwork), and Thursday morning about eating out with the nuclear fam at a restaurant.
The event came off beautifully, and I crashed and did mostly nothing on Friday, but still. You chose a wise course.

Really, I'm glad you made it down here. Almost no one ever comes down here. I'm like in a freaking dungeon down here. I get lonely. But not you. YOU made it all the way to the end of the page. For this I think I've a little crush on you. I don't know, is "love" to strong a word to use in this situation? Well, if it's not "love," then it's very strong "like." I'm totally in like with you for coming down here. You are awesome. Please love me back! I know, I know, I shouldn't be all needy, it's not attractive at all, but you don't know how it is to be stuck down here. Who scrolls all the way to the end of a page anymore these days?
