The Goings On

One of the reasons I took this week off was so I could help get Carrie ready to go to Japan. Yes, it’s true, we are totally sick of her and have found a buyer in Osaka who will take her off our hands for a month.

OK, fine. She’s going on Study Abroad for a month. We are totally jealous. I want to go hang out in a foreign country for a month. Though my mother has warned us that there are all kinds of “White Girl Slavery Rings” and we should tell her to be careful. Thanks, Mom!

She’s leaving tomorrow and because of the perversity of the International Date Line, she actually arrives in Tokyo last night. Or something like that. Very bizarre. Though she’s not sure how often she’ll be able to nestle herself away in an internet cafe, hopefully, she’ll keep her site updated with her travels.

Good luck, Daughter #1! You’ll have an EXCELLENT time, I know it! And you do get sold into a White Girl Slave Ring, make sure you hold out for a good price, mmm K?

Really, I'm glad you made it down here. Almost no one ever comes down here. I'm like in a freaking dungeon down here. I get lonely. But not you. YOU made it all the way to the end of the page. For this I think I've a little crush on you. I don't know, is "love" to strong a word to use in this situation? Well, if it's not "love," then it's very strong "like." I'm totally in like with you for coming down here. You are awesome. Please love me back! I know, I know, I shouldn't be all needy, it's not attractive at all, but you don't know how it is to be stuck down here. Who scrolls all the way to the end of a page anymore these days?
