Someone Stole From Us
We were robbed over the weekend. I’ll have the sordid details later.
No one was hurt. We will *probably* get all our money back.
I am installing deadbolts throughout the house and I suggest you do the same.
And lock your car doors at night and don’t leave anything you care about in them.
That’s truly awful. A “home invasion” can be so upsetting. Could’ve been worse I suppose. I’m reading In Cold Blood so my mind is addled with senseless violence. Glad you’re all okay and you will “probably” get your money back.

There’s just no easy path through this kind of thing, is there. Sorry you have to deal with what must be an aggravating, upsetting, difficult situation. Probably you won’t look back on this and laugh at any time, but I hope you soon reach the point where you can at least say “it’s over.”

Basically, someone nabbed her purse (with wallet and blackberry) from her car, parked in our driveway.

Some times life really does suck, but then you get a pizza and things start to feel better.

Really, I'm glad you made it down here. Almost no one ever comes down here. I'm like in a freaking dungeon down here. I get lonely. But not you. YOU made it all the way to the end of the page.
